howdy people
my grand daughter wants a k11 micra though in my eyes a k10 may be a good choice
are any opinions around i can make right the first go round?

Having had both a K10 and now a K11 i loved both of them. K10's are getting a little rarer now for parts etc. so if i were you i would lean towards the K11 plenty of parts available from scrapyard online etc. optional extras like power steering, abs, electric windows can be found on some models. also the K10 has a cambelt and the K11 has a timing chain and in theory if looked after should never have to be changed whereas a cambelt should be changed periodically. Price wise i would say they are worth about the same depending on how mint the car was. K10 came in 1.0l and 1.2l models The K11 came in 1.0l and 1.3l models Good luck with the hunt! |

Hello guys and galls I have just saved a K11 from the scrapman and came across this forum while searching for an airflow meter repair guide . I have just finished a marathon welding job ( pigeon shit ) on the sills and done the airflow meter to rectify the higher than normal emissions . Took the car for a drive round the block and considering it has got 130 thousand miles under its CVT gearbox it drives loveley . Just need to sell my campervan now and I can get the Micra insured and taxed and hit the road I will sort some pictures out and post them soon . Steve  |
